Thank you for taking the time to consider sponsoring Team Naujawan. Our names are Sunny Midha and Nish Arora; We are both co-founders of Naujawan, a streetwear brand built in Chicago which embodies the youthful mindset. This summer, we have brought together a team that is competing in the Elite Division of the Chicago Indo-Pak National Basketball Tournament at Supreme Courts in Aurora, from July 31 to August 2. Our goal is to win the championship and use this to market our sponsors, and our clothing brand.
Naujawan was built around the idea that your roots let you connect with others, not separate you from everyone else. That same mindset is what’s bringing us onto the court this year. We’re new to this stage and still building, and are looking to grow our support for all cultures, starting with our own. We’ve put together a diverse, award winning team to grow our marketing scope. We’re not trying to fit into something that already exists or only win this championship. We want to build our own long-lasting impression in the community, on and off the court.

The Chicago Indo-Pak National Basketball Tournament has been running since 1989, which makes 2026 its 37th year. It’s part of a wider network of Indo-Pak basketball tournaments held across the United States and Canada, all built around bringing the South Asian community together through the game, and Chicago’s is one of the longest running and most established of them. This year’s attendance is deemed to be 5000+ people.
The Elite Division is the top competitive bracket in the tournament, separate from the youth divisions and the more casual Community division. It draws fierce competition from serious, established teams from all across North America. Past Elite finals have featured teams from as far as Winnipeg facing off against Chicago’s top squads.
The tournament has been written about and studied for what it represents beyond basketball, with researchers pointing to Chicago’s event specifically as one of the most well regarded Indo-Pak tournaments in the country, a place where the game and the culture around it carry equal weight.
This year’s tournament is hosted at Supreme Courts in Aurora, a four court facility with the same hardwood flooring used on roughly 90 percent of NBA courts and by programs like Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Indiana. The same venue regularly hosts events for Under Armour, USA Hoops, and Jr. NBA, drawing in media coverage from official sports social media channels such as Bleacher Report, Brown Ballers, Complex, and many more.

The Chicago Indo-Pak National Basketball Tournament draws an expected turnout of 5,000 people, with fans and players flying in from all over the country just to be there.
